rubber in front of stairs and wind sucks.

January 16th, 2006 by akraus

I went skating yesterday with the homie osmaan and brandon. We headed out pretty late in the day which always sucks, since it doesnt leave much of the day to be skated. Anyhow we headed to this 9 stair which we remembered to be perfect, but we were mistaken. Instead of bondo there was this rubbery material covering a crack before you pop and when u try and pop on it u would just stop it was wierd. As everyone knows it was pretty darn windy yesterday which just made it even harder to skate. Well ill guess we will fix the spot and hopefully get some clips on that darn 9. I still had fun skating the spot although it could have been better. But theres always next time so theres nothing to be upset or worry about. Aight stay up and lates for now.

We dropped an F Bomb!

Picture_0517.jpgAnyone remember the Rip Curl "F Bomb" Giveaway we did here on the site? Well we finally got around to picking a winner and Dawn in Thousand Oaks was the lucky winner. Congrats Dawn, have fun! Here’s what Dawn had to say about it:

I finally got the wetsuit in the mail and the very next day I had to test it out.  Me and a couple friends went out to Rincon on the 30th and scored some 4-5 ft waves and without a really heavy crowd.  I took a couple shots after we got out of the water in the parking lot.  all I have to say is this is the best suit I’ve ever owned.  So warm, comfortable, and it looks freaking cool!  I think I like the lil zip stash pouch around the calf the most though haha.  Thanks so much again, I really needed a new wetsuit, this couldn’t have happened at a more opportune time!
