Nine Star gets some love On ESPN Radio

January 25th, 2007 by saulgood

Check out our homie Rick Thorne interviewing Strung Out on ESPN radio. You get to hear a new song from Strung Out’s upcoming album and listen to Ricks crazy rambling by clinking the image below and downloading the MP3. If you would rather listen to it on the expn audio player you can visit EXPN.com and click the "play" button in the lower left side of the screen. I'd fast forward to just about 5:00 into the broadcast and skip the X Games news. That will get you front and center for a little shout-out to Nine Star followed by the new song…

Last weekend my home was transformed into a holiday wonder land. And while everyone was bruising their thumbs hanging mistletoe I was super bored, so made this little stop motion movie. Enjoy

Well, It’s all over…

Yep, the Burton Rail Jams are over for 2006 and if you missed em, you missed one hell of a time. Wait, you're skimming this paragraph for links to more photos right now aren’t you? Well… don't, cause I didn't take many. In fact the whole reason for this post is really cause I got to use Auto-Stitch, which is a free photo stitching program that actually works most of the time. It's a little weird when people move throughout your shots (see below) but it still beats the hour in Photoshop compiling manually. You can download auto-stitch by clicking here. But sorry, if you wanted the full run down and photo-set from the Burton Rail Jam, you’re just going to have to wait for Eric's slow ass to post them.

Furniture have feelings too

September 7th, 2006 by saulgood

I have often wondered why the beautiful couch in the lounge always ends up getting mysteriously tattered and worn, almost like the shoe bench gets drunk and has his way with her at night when everyone leaves the shop…

Don Vito’s a Perv? Who would’ve guessed…

August 22nd, 2006 by saulgood

Uh-oh, Don Vito is in some serious sh!# in Colorado. I would love to hear this guy talk to a judge, or even better hear the court reporter try and read back what he says…

“The curse of new Nine Star locations” rears its ugly head…

July 14th, 2006 by saulgood

During the planning stages of Nine Star [click here], just before we broke ground on location "numero uno" in Los Angeles, a drunk driver decided to ram his Civic into the back of my truck while I was on the 5 Freeway….

A few short months later "Nine Star Los Angeles" opened its doors. So you’d think I should have known better. Yesterday, 30 minuets after getting my first look at the construction phase for Nine Stars location #2, my car exploded into flames on the 5 freeway!

At the rate Nine Star is opening new locations I don’t think I’m going to be able to drive ever again. I hear that tandem bicycle riding has come back into style though… – Saul Goode
